I pulled up Star Trek’s Original Series on Netflix and took a screen shot of Captain Kirk. I then brought that photo into Illustrator and created a blocky vector version using the pen tool.
I’ll admit it, I like Star Trek. But really, what’s not to like? Retro set designs, cheesy special effects, great characters, and imaginative science fiction plots… sounds exactly like something I would enjoy. I decided that an illustration of the unflappable Captain James T. Kirk was in order, and thus, the above result.
